New Analysis and Monitoring Tools Reduce the Complexity of day-to-day IT Operations
Leipzig, September 20, 2018 - The increasing complexity of IT infrastructures and the continuing shortage of network professionals is leading to a growing demand for intelligent analysis and network tools. The Allegro Network Multimeters developed by Allegro Packets are at the forefront of troubleshooting and network analysis tools. For example, when a printer becomes unresponsive, a service cannot be accessed or e-mails have not arrived. The Allegro Network Multimeter is the ideal solution to finding the problem. At the IT security trade show it-sa taking place in Nuremberg from 9 to 11 October 2018, Allegro Packets and DMN Solutions will be demonstrating the power and ease of use of the Allegro Network Multimeter at their joint stand in Hall 9, Stand 120.
Network analysis with the Allegro Network Multimeter enables troubleshooting on various network layers, in the VLANs, on the IP or at the application layer. Based on the data gathered by the Allegro Network Multimeter, an administrator can quickly determine whether errors are in the data center or at the user's location.
Allegro Packets is in the process of significantly expanding its product range (Allegro Packets Series 200 (End of Life since 2023), 1000 and 3000), which will be on view at the it-sa trade show. Two new Allegro Network Multimeters will be presented to help organizations that require high network performance on extremely fast networks.
The Allegro Network Multimeter 3500 Series is a 100% reliable full-capture-to-disk solution with extremely high analysis rates (40/100 GBit/s), with storage capacity (in-memory database up to 1536 GB, ring buffer up to 360 TB). The Allegro platform is the ideal toolset for use in large data centers, core networks and ISP infrastructures.
New Advanced Analysis Software
In the last few months, Allegro Packets introduced several new technical features and advanced functionality. The new measurement and analysis concept to be introduced by Allegro Packets at it-sa 2018 supports the tools necessary to measure QoS, MPLS and interface bursts. At the same time, Protocol 104 is supported in a simple Scada module. The new software version of the Allegro Network Multimeter focus on individual grouping of the various IP parameters, the SSH Remote Tunnel Support plus further SIP and VoIP functions which contribute to faster error analysis and consequently, a time and cost reduction in VoIP networks.
‘Detecting Network Problems - Allegro Network Multimeter Simplifies Troubleshooting in your Network.’
In addition to the product highlights, visitors to it-sa 2018 can look forward to a highly informative lecture by Klaus Degner, Managing Director of Allegro Packets. The title is ‘Detecting network problems - Allegro Network Multimeter simplifies troubleshooting in your network.’ This lecture will take place on Wednesday 11:30 a.m. on the Tech stage in Hall 9.
Thanks to the Allegro Network Multimeter, network support engineers can minimize valuable troubleshooting time; however, network problems are often only reported after the event. The Allegro Network Multimeter accurately confirms which traffic existed at which point in the network at a specific time. Previous connections can be narrowed down and analyzed by time selection. The Allegro Network Multimeter provides a clear and unambiguous before and after comparison that includes network users and the protocols used, plus detailed statistics of individual server services (SMB, http, SSL, etc.). With the Allegro Network Multimeter, further packet analysis with Wireshark is also significantly accelerated, since Pcap can be pre-filtered accurately in advance.
