2nd place at the German Computer Center Award!
Tech-Startup Allegro Packets wins German Data Center Award!
Leipzig, April 25, 2018 - Allegro Packets GmbH's Allegro Network Multimeter troubleshooting tool has been awarded second place in the German Data Center Award 2018 for its efficient and cost-saving concept. This was awarded for its innovative combination of smart software and mobile hardware appliance, which helps the network operate smoothly. The German Computer Center Award is presented in eight categories, each of which highlights different aspects of modern IT technology, from security to network structure. The Award is presented each year by an independent jury as part of the "future thinking" congress and this year, a total of 58 companies applied for the award. This year's award ceremony took place on 24 April in Darmstadt and Allegro Packets GmbH prevailed over its competitors in the category "network infrastructures".
Innovative combination of smart software and mobile hardware
In modern IT architectures is an efficient troubleshooting a major problem. Heterogeneous structures and complex, sometimes critical structures cause the susceptibility to errors as well as the time and cost expenditure to skyrocket. The sources of error are as heterogeneous as the network itself. Analyses that successively exclude individual sources are time-consuming and cost-intensive.
The Allegro Network Multimeter, on the other hand, is designed to minimize time and cost. The mobile and powerful troubleshooting appliance has been specifically designed to provide a quick overview of all network traffic. Suspicious parameters can then be examined in detail. Real-time statistics help system administrators and other IT professionals identify vulnerabilities without waiting and customize configurations accordingly. The ability to extract selective pcaps for past events speeds up the in-depth analysis many times over. Thanks to its portability (from 260 g), the Allegro multimeter can also be sent by post to a branch or to a customer.
This makes the Allegro Network Multimeter suitable not only for every industry, but also for every company size: The Allegro Network Multimeter is available in different versions, up to the 100 GBit/s-capable Allegro 3000 for large data centers and ISPs.
