‘Without Visibility, no Security’: Allegro Packets at the IT Security Congress in Leipzig, Germany

Leipzig, 26.August 2019 - On the 3rd of September 2019 Leipzig will be the venue of the IT Congress "Mitteldeutschland - mit Sicherheit in die Zukunft der IT" (“Central Germany, the Future of IT Security”). Experts on politics and economics will discuss changes brought about by new technologies such as AI and Machine Learning and how we can deal with them. The managing director of Allegro Packets, Klaus Degner, will participate in the discussion as an expert onIT networks. His presentation "Without Visibility, No Security in IoT and IIoT" is scheduled for 12.30 pm.

The Congress initiated by the IT Cluster Central Germany will take place in parallel with the international conference FEDCSIS 2019 and in close cooperation with the University of Leipzig.

The Congress will focus on practical aspects on the topics Internet of Things, IT Security and Artificial Intelligence. One hundred and fifty guests from the political and economic world are expected.

In Klaus Degner's lecture "Without Visibility, No Security in IoT and IIoT" he will detail the processes necessary to effectively counter the risks and consequences of IT attack scenarios. "There is no ready-made recipe to protect us from all attacks in the next ten years. What we should be able to do, however, is to be one step ahead of the hackers.
