Leipzig/Nuremberg, 30.09.2019 – At this year's it-sa, network specialist Allegro Packets will show the latest developments in network analysis with the Allegro 500 and the Webshark feature. The more efficiently problems in a network can be detected, the lower an admin’s frustration and downtime costs. Allegro Packets will explain how you can use the Allegro Network Multimeter to quickly determine errors - at Booths 9-124 and 9-342 and in a presentation by Klaus Degner, Managing Director of Allegro Packets on the 9th of October 2019, 12:15 p.m., Forum Hall 9.
The Allegro Packets is a specialist and leading provider of innovative network analysis and troubleshooting with the Allegro Network Multimeter. With the aid of this tool, which is well established on the market, vast amounts of network data can be analysed by real-time monitoring. The product portfolio ranges from the access model for small or branch offices to the 100 GBit/s version (Allegro 3500/5500).
With the product and function enhancements to be unveiled at it-sa, Allegro Packets is further expanding its technical market leadership. The Allegro 500, which will be presented to a large audience for the first time at the fair, is a portable Gigabit network analyser with a built-in management port and integrated SSD. Weighing less than one kilogram and with 4 x 1G-BaseT monitoring ports, the Allegro 500 is optimised for network measurement and analysis in offices and small data centres.
Allegro Packets will also announce a number of new features, including the Webshark feature. This allows users to analyse pre-filtered traffic data directly in the browser. While previously identified problem areas had to be captured and then imported into Wireshark, many packet analysis functions are now available in real-time without downloading the Wireshark software.
The new features include a global option showing multiple connected Allegro Network Multimeters in one view, will be released in Release 2.5.0 in Q4 2019.
